City Neighbourhoods Committee – Your Local Committee!
The next City Neighbourhoods Committee meeting is Wednesday 21st March 2018 at 7pm in the St Albans Council Chamber.
The agenda for the meeting has now been published. The main items are as follows:
- Sandridge Road Wastes (located within Marshalswick South Ward) – Report on council policy for permitting vehicular crossings, review of potential construction options going forward, such as grass reinforcement mesh.
- Update on Budget Working Group outcome – 10% increase in special expenses for refurbishing and enhancing play areas. Approved by Council Dec. 2017.
- Update on conditions of playgrounds – recommendation that CNC considers and agrees the proposed work program. See page 36 for Marshalswick South playground assets and expenses.
If there is anything you feel should be raised at the meeting then please do get in touch before Wednesday evening. Questions can also be received from members of the public to be read out at the meeting, and they should be emailed to the Head of Community Services by midday Monday 19th March.
